This story is all about CEO Hoo Ye for the majority of the episode as it was revealed that he is a Half-God that the High Priest was referring to (on my previous post, I mentioned that my guess was he was one of the Minor Gods, I guess I was wrong). And their element was indeed Fire (as seen on the previous episode). But this episode does have it’s share of showing off how cheesy Habaek and So-Ah can be.
For CEO Hoo Ye, at this point I feel pity for his character. From the start of the show he was seen as a CEO of a successful company who wants to give something back to everyone (especially for the blind girl, who is quite frankly the blind girl from the first episode also. Is this blind girl really a human? or part of the Realm of the Gods who sought refuge at the human world also?). He had a painful past in the Realm of the Gods that led him to being thrown out of that world. You can’t blame the guy, but thanks to that person who adopted him, He was able to live as a human properly. The question now is why does he have the mark of Joo Dong and the Land Kingdom? This leads to various theories, either he tells the truth that he hasn’t seen Joo Dong or he was the one responsible for Joo Dong’s disappearance that leads to a bigger and darker plot on seeking revenge at the Realm of the Gods.
We get to see a new love team in the form of Yeom Mi and Nam Soo Ri (yes, you read that right). Apparently Yeom Mi seems to have a crush on Nam Soo Ri after they bumped into each other a couple of episodes ago. Is this going to be like Sunny and Grim Reaper? I hope so 🙂
The one thing that is similar between Habaek and Kim Shin (Goblin) is that they are afraid of zombies! I think I would still go with Kim Shin in pulling off this scene as it was more naturally funny compared how Habaek pulled it off. Poor So-Ah as she has to cover her ears from Habaek’s helpless screams at the roller coaster.
What will happen to So-Ah if she already knew that Habaek will leave her someday? Is this the fate that she will have all along?. We will have to tune in to find out.
