Park Seo Jun for Bench

Still on a high from tonight’s funmeet with Park Seo Jun!

He was so game in answering all the questions, playing games, and indulging the fans. He is so shy and down to earth and so sweet. I can tell he was so shocked and overwhelmed by the amount of screaming fans tonight. I hope he comes back next year for a regular fan meeting.

Lots of things happened tonight and i love Sam Oh as the host (though i’m not sure how much she knows about him). First, he answered questions about himself ala slumbook style.

Then they showed his mindmap using his ow handwriting – life, friends, family, filipino fans, travel, health and Itaewon class.

10 fans had a chance to directly ask him a question.

The crowd played Pinoy Henyo with him and he only got one answer right! (I think he got mental block but he was so cute and teasing the crowd)

A couple of fans played Park Park Seo Jun (and he also participated)

3 fans had the chance to receive a gift from him – pillow, voice recording and selfie.

PSJ shared some thiughts on his instagram posts.

One super lucky fan had a phone call with PSJ in front of everyone

He gave 100 VIP fans signed posters. He happily hugged, talked, shake hands and received gifts from the fans. (It could have been me if i had just waken up early!!)

He gave away free Bench shirts to the crowd.

He also took pictures with Ben Chan before finally giving his last message.

It was a super fun night! I loved all of his reactions. Really charming fellow. I wish him more succesful projects and more fame!

Review
I miss Kwon Sang Woo!! he used to be one of my fave actors way back when i was in my early 20s. what has happened to him? he seldoms has movies and dramas lately. I think comedy and action is really his forte. and i miss his cute lisp!

I dont really like Dae-man, if i were his wife i would also get angry at him every single day. However i can understand him – he doesn’t want to be a comic book rental owner. he wanted to be a police but failed because of his knees. he loves profiling and is good at it but he is too annoying. Detective has not even arrested him for obstructing or anything. I didn’t read the review or the story at all so I was racking my brains trying to solve the murders based on the clues that they have. My guess was actually the newbie detective. haha. the whole thing about the “murder exchange” was interesting concept but the way Dae Man explained it was too fast, i was trying to grasp how the whole thing worked. I understood Lee Yuma and Detective Ma, but who was that Han Tae Woong guy? (he looks so much like the arrogant detective i thought it was him) I kinda figures out Yong gyu in the end when i finally connected the dots.

I think between Dae Man and Detective No, it felt like it was Daeman was the brains and mouth and Detective No was following Dae man. but they made a good team. Both hilarious and the comedic timing was spot on! and when they decided to create the PI company together – yay! finally Dae Man will finally earn money while doing what he loves most! Looking forward to the sequel!

Review
I watched it after i found that that Lee Seung Gi is coming to Manila for a fanmeeting. I’m not a big fan of LSG but i find that i always end up watching his dramas/movies/shows. On the other hand, I only know Shim Eun Kyung because of Miss Granny and i actually feel like her character and mannerisms are similar to Miss Granny. I guess it’s the actress’ style where she speaks loud or make witty retorts. (kind of like how Park Bo Young annoys me with her tiny cute voice)

I liked the first half the the movie when Princess was trying to meet the 4 husbands to be. They were hilarious and the love/hate between the princess and Seo Do yoon was funny. You just know they will end up together. But then the second half of the movie got dark and too rushed. Yeon Woo Jin is handsome but he is really good at being and looking evil. The movie didn’t really explain why the consort or Shi Kyung were colluding (are they lovers? i wasn’t sure what their relationship was).

But i did like the ending and how they were able to find a good way to resolve the story that makes sense during that period and still have the princess and a normal guy together. i think this is Lee Seung Gi’s first movie after he got out of the army and he wasn’t that cute here (he didn’t wear makeup and his face looked dark and rough). and this kind of helped me make up my mind that i’m not going to LSG’s fan meeting (boohoo!) I realized i’m not really a fan and i may not have a good time watching. (but if i get free tix i will go haha or if my friend who is a big LSG fan will go, i might accompany her to watch).

Park Seo Jun fun meet

So i just saw this. Even without buying anything from Bench, i am willing to pay VIP to see PSJ. But now that i saw the totally unrealistic and crazy mechanics, i’m not sure if i can grab 10k worth of Bench items and pay within one hour. I mean seriously, do they want a stampede inside their store? Can i pay now, choose items later?

Any fan girls out there who can give the best strategy? Patron ticket is also not bad. But i want to see PSJ upclose! Esp since this fun meet probably would not have the usual perks like group photo or hitouch.

Note to even organizers can you bring him back next year for a proper fanmeeting?
